Rare and very limited Allamand Valle de Uco Pinot Noir 2013
100% Pinot Noir from JP Calandria's vineyard located in the district of El Peral, part of the department of Tupungato, and one of the highest places in Valle de Uco.
In this vineyard, that also has Malbec planted at the top of the hill plus Cabernet Sauvignon planted on the hillside of the property facing east, we find 1.5 hectares of Pinot Noir (clon 777) at the bottom of it that was planted in 2000.
10% of the wine spent 12 months in new French oak barrels and then 18 months in the bottle before its release to the market.
Total production for the 2013 vintage was 5,000 bottles
