This line of wines is intended to express that the Valle de Uco is capable of expressing wines of more complexity and elegance through the consientious cultivation of high quality grapes across three different vineyards from this valley.
With our line of wines coming from the Luján de Cuyo department, we intend to show you those unique characteristics that make this historical wine region so famous and important in Mendoza, Argentina: very expressive and intense wines.
This wine, along with our Allamand Altamira Malbec, represents further evidence of our commitment to making wines with a sense of place. It is a much more "specific" wine made of 100% malbec coming only from the Joaquin Villanueva vineyard, located in the district of Perdriel one of the coolest places in the historical department of Lujan de Cuyo.
This is a 100% malbec from a vineyard that Cristian planted 15 years ago in the heart of Altamira, part of the district of La Consulta, in the department of San Carlos in Valle de Uco.
H, the silent letter of the Spanish alphabet, represents the best wine that Cristian Allamand (a.k.a. The Mute) is capable of making using the fruit of vineyards he works every day in the province of Mendoza, Argentina.
